My daughter has been diagnosed with ADHD, mild autism, and a speech and language developmental disorder. We live in the US, and I couldn’t find therapy availability near our location. For the past one year, my daughter has been attending occupational therapy and speech therapy at Andhaadhi. I have seen so much improvement in her. We are living abroad, and I came to know about this center through my friend. Later, I watched many of Vaishnavi Ma'am's speech therapy videos on YouTube and found them very helpful. Initially, I was worried and had many doubts about how effective online therapy would be. But Alhamdulillah, they have done an excellent job. I would especially like to thank Hephzi Samuel Ma'am(OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST) for her dedication and support. She taught my child using many different methods and guided us throughout the journey. Alhamdulillah, my son's improvement has been remarkable. It makes me very happy when his school teachers also mention how much he has improved. I want to share my genuine concern so that no other kids are affected by this centre. This centre is fully money minded. First they took an assessment and gave report which was very generalized. Even before sharing the report they had started the therapy sessions. In the therapy same assessment questions were repeated to me and no session was given to the kid. one therapy session costs 700rs and assessment 2000rs. Therapy mam said she clearly has a specific disorder and then I asked why should I take and assessment when it can't be diagnosed there. The admin was only interested to Book slots and get money so wanted to share the same with Vaishnavi mam. She clearly told this is how they will take any number of sessions to identify the issues and its not a blood report to get immediate diagnosis if you aren't interested pls walk away. I don't understand how when 1 therapist can identify issue in 30 mins and others can't do in 1 hr. I have wasted around 5000rs and after 1 month they are adding this diagnosis & again sharing report. Pls don't fall into this trap. Update: As per the reply given by management, they are addressing the concerns from day 1. According to them addressing concerns meaning talking to the customers and saying this is our process we will slowly diagnose the issue within a year and start the treatment next year meanwhile we can spend endless money on therapy. I had clearly asked for refund of my money as am not happy with the service and I am spending money only to assess my kid. After 4 sessions they are saying you need speech assessment when I asked when you are going to diagnose everything in the therapy sessions why do you need an assessment? Immediate answer is that's how we will do, this is our process. Then I asked them for such a delay in identifying things and still the sessions haven't started properly, waste of my money and time. Since you are not doing the assessment properly, I have to go through all this either provide me a refund for the sessions or retake both OT and speech assessment free of cost. She immediately said we cannot do speech assessment for free, if you aren't trusting us you can walk away and sessions money cannot be refunded. Is this not money minded? Really wonderful therapists who have lot of patience and try lot of strategies in children.Speech therapist yuktha màam such a nice person have more patience to handle children and that makes progress in sessions and sanmathi màam also use lot of strategies in OT sessions for children behaviour and give so many ideas.Totally best therapy centre to handle children.
