As per their paediatrician, all milestones were achieved on time and child was certified normal. As the next phase of life begins and child goes to school, there is flurry of complaints that the child is not sitting in class / not following instructions / not communicating / not socialising. we were under impression that it was initial days and school, child needs time to settle down and he will get alright within few days. However, it was not settling which forced us to meet a development paediatrician. First doctor, within two minutes of meeting us with kid, indicated that the child needs assistance . Eye contact is poor. He advised us to meet a specialist. Such a harsh feedback within few minutes of meeting made our life miserable, left us confused and gasping for breathe. We were searching internet, watching Youtube and looking for solutions. Thats when we had viewed videos of Andhaadhi Rehab - Dr Vaishnavi. The contents in videos were crystal clear and gave us confidence to approach her for assistance and guidance. We had a review by Dr Praveena, a Therapist. She was very positive, kind, calm and through professional. We had three sessions of speech therapy for almost six months. The speech development process in child was little time consuming at initial stage but at end of six months, the results were really good. Eye contact improved. Child was able to speak 3/4 words together and the feedback from school also was encouraging. Now in one year, we could see tremendous improvement and progress in every aspect of his life and our life has changed equally. We are living in Saudi arabia. We started online therapy, they diagnose her speech stage is around 2.5 years old only. They suggested to give occupational therapy and speech therapy. Our therapist name is Humaira aufrin, she did her best to my daughter’s speech improvement. First of all I think that, how much it’s possible to improve her speech through online sessions. But she proved that my guess is wrong. She is handling my daughter very nicely. Sometimes my daughter gets boring but therapist never give up to engage her. We have noticed her development within 3 months. Therapist Humaira ma’am guides me a lot, whatever I ask her, she never hesitate to explain it. We had sessions around one year. Now my daughter can speak coherently and she can understand what others asking , how to interact with others.
